Anacharis (Egeria Densa)
Anacharis is a popular submerged plant used for water clarification and oxygenation in both ponds and aquariums. Anacharis gets small white flowers when it reaches the surface of the water. Use anacharis to improve water quality, provide a place for fish to hide, and give fish a natural food source.
Anacharis Cannot be shipped to AL, CA, CO, CT, ID, IL, IN, LA, MA, ME, MI, MS, NC, NE, NH, NY, OH, OR, PR, SC, VT, WA, WI - Know your state laws. Never release plants into public waterways.
Planting Instructions: For aquariums we recommend weighting the plants to the bottom with either aquarium safe stones or decorations. For ponds we recommend planting in small baskets with pea gravel or a clay based soil. While anacharis can be left free floating or weighted to the bottom of a pond, anacharis will be more cold tolerant if planted.
